The city is located at the convergence of two major rivers: the Daule and the Babahoyo, only 70 km from the Pacific Ocean.
It has an area of 345 square kilometers, which is made up of urban development, green areas and a stream. The Guayaquil canton has 16 urban and 5 rural parishes.
